FLEET & EQUIPMENT / DOCUMENT REF. KCG-FL-001
The fleet capacity that lets Kenchan self-perform 92% of work scope — from 60-ton crawler cranes to three tunnel boring rigs and a 24/7 batch plant — documented down to the machine count.

01 · FLEET CAPACITY
Before a procurement officer asks about mobilization windows, they ask what we own. The numbers below are pulled from the active KENLOG register as of this document revision.

60T
HEAVIEST CRANE

02 · INVENTORY BY WORK CLASS
The fleet is grouped by trade, not by OEM. Each panel lists owned unit counts and the headline capacity that defines the class, so a quantity surveyor can verify mobilization against their own take-off.
Crawler cranes from 35-ton to 60-ton class, all-terrain mobile cranes to 70-ton, telehandlers, and rigging accessories. Sized for bridge girder placement, plant steel erection, and confined-site picks across Hokkaido.
Hydraulic excavators from 5-ton to 80-ton class, rigid-frame 85-ton dump trucks, dozers, graders, and compactors. Suited to cut-fill, embankment, road base, and quarry operations through frozen-season windows.
Three tunnel boring rigs (TBM), roadheaders, segment erectors, and muck handling systems. Configured for mountain-tunnel contracts in the Hokkaido and northern Tohoku ranges.
Concrete pumps, mixer trucks, pile-driving rigs, and the in-house Otaru batch plant paired with a private aggregate quarry. Cold-weather pouring protocol adopted as a regional reference.
03 · FLAGSHIP ASSETS
Four assets in the fleet that are unusually difficult for a competing civil subcontractor in Hokkaido to bring to site without sub-rental — documented here so a procurement officer can read the constraint before the RFQ phone call.
Fourteen owned 60-ton class crawler cranes available for bridge girder erection, industrial plant steel picks, and seismic retrofit assignments. Maximum lift radius documented at 42 meters.
Twenty-eight rigid-frame 85-ton payload dump trucks tied to the Otaru quarry operation, sustaining material movement on cut-fill and embankment contracts in frozen ground conditions.
Three TBM units configured for Hokkaido's varied mountain geology, paired with roadheaders and segment erectors for full tunnel-scope mobilization without third-party dependency.
In-house 24/7 batch plant with its own aggregate quarry on the Otaru site, sustaining 800 m³/day during peak pours and enabling cold-weather pouring protocol adopted across Hokkaido.
04 · KENLOG TELEMATICS
KENLOG is Kenchan's proprietary telematics platform, deployed across 100% of heavy equipment since 2020. Every machine in this document is tracked for location, hours, fuel burn, idle time, and mechanical status — a procurement officer is entitled to ask, and we are obliged to answer.
